I don't have the equipment to verify accuracy, but bought it to check my dial calipers, which it says are off by one thou. Well made, surfaces are nicely ground and smooth. I like it.

I bought the 1" and 3" versions and neither one of them are that good. The 1" version is off .0002 against gauge blocks and my other standard (which agree's with my gauge blocks). The 3" version is ground on an angle and I have to place the one end on the front edge and the other end on the back edge and slowly roll the standard until I can find the narrowest point to get it to read correctly since it isn't ground square. A quality standard is actually ground with a curve so this doesn't happen and you get an accurate reading even if you don't have the standard in straight. You get what you pay for and if you are only looking for .001 accuracy then these would do the job but if you are looking for .0001 then look elsewhere.
