I bought it as a Christmas present for a 7 year old and she loved it. I dot myself and was impressed with this kit. Perfect for a beginner. For a moment I was tempted to keep it for myself and order another one.

I just received this kit today, and I'm really impressed with the quality of the included items. You really do get everything you need (except paint) to make dot mandala art. The tools are all of the quality you'd find if you bought each of them separately, really solidly made. Even the cardboard rounds are really thick and sturdy.The included easel is cheap and kind of useless. I'm not sure why this is even included. Perhaps for display purposes? And the paint brushes are also cheap (although by far not the worst I've seen), but I expected that based on the pictures. I ended up keeping them anyway, because sometimes you need a cheapo paintbrush. They were actually a bit better than I expected, to be honest.But the reason I bought the kit was to get the dotting tools, and you really do get some great quality tools for very little money. Honestly, couldn't be happier with this purchase.
