The camera is small but solid. Clear and sharp videos. Several useful video modes for different scenarios. Work great. Love it.

Ace Pro 2 is a really nice camera if you using at day time. But all that hype & reviews i had seen that it’s best in low light. i didn’t find any difference between this & any other action cameras. Even in Pure night video mode. i felt quality suffers it’s not useable ( if you know what I mean its feels low quality & i tried all kind of setting auto to manual. Maybe it’s just me, but i end up returning it!!

So far So good! Simple, good quality, both with the physical camera, and especially with the video, all formats, 1080, 2.7k, 4k, and now 8k. Well built, and I love the flip up screen, audio is really good. The included wind screen attachment is well engineered and does a great job to quiet the wind and other noises. Overall, you can't go wrong. I strongly recommend, especially for that beginner, or young videographer, simple yet lots of settings and options.

Pure video mode alone makes it worth the price

As a small camera, this is a good device when judged by the image quality it produces. But operating it in the cold, or outdoors in challenging conditions is a real kludge. The menu system is poorly organized and difficult to impossible to use with gloves. A full rewrite of the menu system would make it much better.Very dissapointing to have such an expensive thing come without a fully usable standard mount or 1/4-20 hole. Very agressive data collection from the manufacturer, with precise location required to register. While it got pretty warm and drained a lot of battery just getting setup, the stabilizaion and color look far better than expected. There are a lot of color modes to get a nice, natural image right out of the box, or to go more vivid. Low light is also very impressive. For me, the thing itself seems good, but the slap in the face of having to go order more stuff and wait, just to use it, puts it to a one star for me. But I raised it because the image looks good. From what I see of the mounting system, thousands of these things will be smashed by the roadside or lost in a river. There is no place to loop a cable through it. Getting one of those "surround style" mounts might help that, but it just gets heavier and more expensive. Maybe I'll just use some wire as a safety. Thing sure is heavy. After spending more $$$ and fuddling around trying to get a 1/4-20 system for it that is not like a dagwood sandwich of $$$ adapters that add leverage to the camera, I'm getting it worked out -- but I'm editing my rating to a single star now. Why? The all-metal "quick release" adapter is flimsey, and proprietary. Low profile adapters from other manufacterers fit, but they have some play in them. A little vibration is often enough to make something break in time. There is no excuse for not having a 1/4-20 adapter for this heavy little camera. Also, the lack of a sturdy passthrough for a lanyard is a very serious flaw. Each new adapter, required due to flawed design, adds more weight and cost. The bluetooth remote has a range of about 40 feet inside the house, which is about the same as the low-security wifi range. The app, from what I can see, does not allow a blue-tooth-only connection to the device.

While the The Insta360 Ace2Pro appears expensive at $419.99, the camera excels in its technical specifications, performance and in the pricing of its accessories, when compared to the GoPro Hero13 and the DJI Action 5 Pro.The Ace2Pro is the only camera of the group to feature a German-designed Leica lens. The Insta360 Ace2 Pro allows users to record 8K video while the GoProHero13 only allows the capture of 5K video, and the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro/Akaso V50 only allow the capture of 4K video.

Just found out that this camera only works with their own remote. Can't connect a generic selfie stick bluetooth to trip the shutter. This should be made clear on the product advertising. Very impressed with the rest of the tech and build quality but i think many people will be put off by this. After consulting with their customer service they were very accommodating and sent me one of their Power Selfie sticks and mount free of charge so I could use it the way I intended. The extra battery life in the stick is a bonus. I'm very happy now with the experience of using the camera; there are a lot of features and the overall image and audio quality is very good. I think the larger image sensor and quality optics make a big difference; I was pleased with the results of indoor lighting at a sporting event

First and foremost, a big thank you to Amazon for their fast and reliable delivery, as always. As someone who frequently travels abroad on holidays—both on a surf boards and diving—having a high-quality action camera is essential for capturing my adventures. After a great experience using the Insta Ace Pro 1 on a skiing trip, I decided to upgrade to the Insta Ace Pro 2 for my action cam setup.Successors aren’t always guaranteed to be better, but in this case, Insta has put a lot of effort into refining the Ace Pro 2. The improvements are noticeable and make a real difference in performance. Here’s what stands out the most:Improved Microphone: The newly redesigned mic captures ambient sounds with much better clarity. While the changes may seem subtle, they become evident when playing back footage at higher volumes.Enhanced Low-Light Performance: I often ride in dim lighting conditions, and while the Ace Pro 1 already delivered good footage, the Ace Pro 2 performs exceptionally well in low-light settings, including dusk. This could be due to the built-in AI or upgraded software enhancements. Whatever the reason, I’ve never seen better night-time footage from an action cam.Leica Colour Profiles: The colour profiles are rich, vibrant, and high in contrast, significantly enhancing the quality of recordings.True Wide-Angle Lens: The wide-angle capabilities are outstanding, providing an expansive view that truly lives up to its name. For adrenaline junkies, the Insta Ace Pro 2 is arguably the best traditional action camera currently available. Two thumbs up—this purchase was absolutely worth it!

Das ist mal eine richtige action camera. Im Vergleich zu einer traditionellen GoPro erzeugt die ACE Pro 2 in der Nacht deutlich bessere Bilder mit wenig Rauschen. Dann noch in 8K 30fps, what!!!
