After buying my first Insta360 camera and a mount, which was the U-bolt motorcycle mount(which is a very good mount). I quickly noticed with the selfie stick extended it wobbled around a lot more than I expected. So I started looking for ways to stiffen up my setup.I went with the Insta360 brand support clamp, based on the quality of the u-bolt mount that I had previously purchased. The quality of their stuff is very good and this support is no different, it's very well made. I found it really works well to add extra support up my setup and also provides more confidence that stuff will stay put. If there is a weak spot with this system it's got to be the o-rings they use on the ball mounts. Personally I don't expect them to be much of an issue. But it should be noted that if/when you adjust this support clamp you should back off the ball mount clamps pressure so as you're not introducing a lot of friction (or any ideally) on the o-rings. That being said they should be fairly easy and cheap to replace if you damage one. 20mm OD and 3mm diameter is very close to their size and I would call it a hard o-ring on...probably 75+ on the durometer scale.

clamp works great if you use the wrench tool. It will likely droop at some point so buy real insurance and not asurion. Asurion has stated, and notated my account for records, that they will not cover anything that occurs on motorcycles. Damage related on a motorcycle is what they call excessive damage and they will not cover anything that happens. DO NOT BUY if using on a motorcycle, they stated 5-25-24 that they will deny everything. Also, for any coverage you have to send the items back to them. So if your camera falls at 160mph and shatters to pieces, they wont cover it. They told me specifically this is for drops while walking on carpet or "maybe" concrete if it is not very bad damage. Total scam. Buy real insurance, or use the coverage on your credit card instead of this scam.

I've been using the support clamp for quite some time now. It's very strong and stable. I check it before a ride and never have to re-tighten it. It does exactly what it's supposed to without fail even at high speeds.Just be aware that if you intend on using the full length of the selfie stick - the base of the stick is hollow. This clamp is strong so if you tighten it too well, you will have too much pressure on the stick and it will snap.

I had high hopes for this Insta360 clamp, but the design really let me down. The double ball mount system didn’t work as expected. Even with the clamp tightened as much as possible by hand, the 'nonslip rubber grip' didn't actually grip. While riding, the setup would still rock forward, despite being securely fastened.I even tried using a tool to tighten it beyond what I could do by hand, but it still failed to stay in place. Over multiple rides, the same issue kept happening, and no matter how tight it was, the rubber around the ball joints would bunch up, causing movement.After several unsuccessful attempts, the clamp outright broke during my latest ride. In my experience, the product simply doesn’t hold up to the demands of motorcycle use, especially when factoring in road vibrations and the weight of a selfie stick and camera.

Il prodotto è buono, ottimi materiali, bello solido e peso. Acquistato come protezione in più per quando giro in moto usando il bastone per la Insta360. A mio avviso potrebbe costare qualcosa meno, ma si sa, se uno vuole roba buona la deve pagare.

Reçu pour apprécier la qualité (sic) mais renvoyée car pour le prix je peux en avoir 2 pratiquement équivalentes. Et pas cool de la part d'insta (pareil pour DJI) le process de retour ultra efficace d'amazon en prend un coup car les remboursements sont hyper longs... Bref soyez sûr de ce que vous achetez...
