Love this way to be as the Boy Scouts taught me back when dirt was a different color . . . . "BE PREPARED." Having my X4 in a protective case and securely hanging on the strap of my snow skiing backpack from strap ready to easily grab and record is Amazing. The attachment clip is super sturdy and strong and the magnet does hold the short selfie stick and the X4 securely.On simple twist and the camera and selfie stick are in my hand and ready to record, even if I am not extending the self stick. When done just pop back into the magnetic base. The extras inch of magnet adapter is not even noticeable.Great design and great product. This is a great accessory for making a great ski blog for our site and channel. Thank Insta 360.

I received the item, and unfortunately, it was DOA (Dead on Arrival). It took me a frustrating 30 minutes to figure out what was wrong. The correct item should include a metal plate in the rotating device, which helps separate the center piece from the holder. However, the item I received did not have this metal plate.Upon examining the original packaging, I noticed an indentation in the middle. The item was packaged with the center piece and the holder already assembled, which is exactly how I remember it when I took it out of the box. This makes me suspect that either this is a used item that someone returned in this condition, or it passed QC despite being defective and was shipped as if it were a functional product.I may consider adjusting my rating once I actually get to use a properly functioning replacement. However, this is a significant oversight, especially for a product that costs $67. It also raises concerns about how robust the metal plate would be for long-term use, even in a properly functioning unit.

The screws are not very durable and broke within 6 months of basic use on my backpack. Unfortunately they would not offer a replacement for just that part and I was told I would need to pay shipping and repair fee for a screw?

I have many selfie sticks and this is a definite must if you're doing a lot of hiking or sports where you need your hands free from recording quickly. Locks on securely and comes off easily for quick recording or recovery. Love it!

Bien pratique sur un sac à dos. Pose facile et usage pratique. Indispensable en rando. Juste une précision, le support ne sert que si la perche est pliée. Il ne sert pas de support à une perche dépliée. Il va donc me falloir acheter un autre support pour perche dépliée fixée sur le sac à dos. En rando c'est pratique surtout si on utilise des bâtons de marche. A voir s'il existe un dispositif pour fixer la perche de l'INSTA sur un bâton de marche, mais cela risque d'être gênant.
