I bought this capture card to replace an old HDMI to USB capture device. It is advertised to work with a PS4. However, when I connected my PS4, all I got was a black screen that had a "No Video" message. Next, I connected another game console and was able to get a picture. This time, the audio was hissing, crackling, cutting out, and sounding "robotic". I'm using OBS as the capture software which, again, is advertised as being compatible.

Bought this for 4k 30 recording for sony camera quality fashionable fine but the fps was stuttering it was 15 unusable. Customer Service just tole me to return it.

does not fully support 4k... input is 40k30hz and only records at 1080p. also does not support more than stereo sound not 5.1 or 7.1 like the listing says. i have tired with several recorders and all show the same info

I got this and managed to get it booted up within a few minutes. However, the audio going to obs sounds horrific. Yet, the audio going to the TV sounds just fine.

False advertising! Product states “Stream and Record in 4K60†but right on the box it says “capture max resolution 4K30†and confirmed it was only 30 after installing driver and tested in OBS.

Was looking for a capture system that I could use quickly to capture in realtime my design builds in Unreal Engine and this system works perfectly, so when I'm not ready to render but want to get a quick run through I can capture a play video and see right away how it is looking.

Plugged it in, and before I knew it, my Nikon camera turned into a high-quality webcam via the HDMI port (needed an additional cable to convert the camera's HDMI-C to HDMI-A, but that is not this product's fault). No need for the Nikon Web Utility that I had to install to use it through the USB port - it just shows up as an additional camera in my settings (using Windows 11). I did have to reboot my laptop for it to be recognized by all apps, but that was it (and that's likely a Windows thing). And the terminology in the quick start manual is a bit out of date, but nothing that would hinder its successful implementation.Still have to do some in-depth streaming testing, and I'll reserve the 5th star until after that.

Bought this as a third video capture box for my video streaming. It works just as good as the other two which are more expensive.

Windows 11 (pro) detects it fine zoom and other apps sees it as a video and audio device you need to select it. I didn’t need to tweak anything but the instructions are ok.
