We use these tanks for making sparkling water with a Sodastream. I bought a couple refillable paintball tanks for this purpose, and one of the tanks developed a link in the pin valve. Since there were a few years left on the tank, I tried this new pin valve. It worked perfectly.

Been using paintball tanks for years. I removed my valve and replaced it with this new one. I may have messed it up but it would not screw down all the way on my universal valve fill adapter. I forced it and now not only is my fill adapter cross threaded but also another tank I tried that fill adapter on. I do make a lot of mistakes in life, but I must have connected a paintball tank over 1000 times and this is the first experience cross treading. I question if this was a product fault or a me fault. I have gone to my back up fill system until my replacement fill adapter is delivered
