I would highly recommend this air mattress. It was just the right height as I have bad knees and cannot get down low. I prefer a firm mattress and this one is. I suppose it might be less firm if you don’t fill it to the max, but I did. This mattress is very sturdy, thick skinned and very comfortable. Once you’re on it and settle in to sleep, you would never know it was an air mattress. One of the best features is it has a built in pump so all you do is plug it in and turn the knob! It was inflated within 5 minutes. It also comes with a handy and strong carrying/storage case. Excellent product for the price!

I purchased two of these to put in our downstairs apartment when we had extra company coming, I got the extra high ones for ease of getting on and off. They are so simple to inflate and deflate, the material is nice and heavy, the top is soft and the sheets stay in place. The size is perfect and is definitely a queen size as I ordered. The value for the money is absolutely outstanding. If you're searching for a tall queen size bed that is simple to air up and deflate. This is the one for you.

This is my third time buying this Intex model over the years. It’s incredibly comfortable—everyone is surprised by how well it sleeps. Setup is easy, the quality feels premium, and the dark grey color looks great. However, it typically lasts about a year before it starts leaking air. It comes with a 12-month warranty, but the customer has to pay for shipping, which is non-refundable. Plus, there’s no guarantee that Intex will actually honor the warranty. If you can find it on sale, I’d still recommend it despite the durability issues.

It's easy to inflate and deflate. It's substantial, well-built, and to date, quite durable. However, it does not consistently remain inflated throughout the night. Overall, it's not a bad choice for what I was looking for.

I initially bought this to stay at my MIL’s senior community (to help her get settled), so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it and I planned to leave it for other relatives that might want to visit. I expected it to be cheap-ish quality and probably not last through my two week stay.First off, set up was a breeze. I laid it out and started inflation and it took about 4-5 minutes to fully inflate. The motor made noise, but it’s to be expected from something like this—I can say that it wasn’t as noisy as our Costco-bought mattress.Second, it’s big—but that’s not a bad thing as much as I thought anyway after I saw it fully inflated. Turns out, for me, it’s a good thing. Our Costco mattress sits low to the floor and as it deflates a bit during the night, it’s tough to get up. This one (the 22†model and the largest one at this writing) is wonderful as I can sit on the edge of it and stand up easily. Your experience may be different, but for older folks it makes it really easy to get out of bed in the morning. How does it sleep? Well, since I was visiting by myself and my significant other wasn’t with me, I can only speak for a single sleeper. It was really comfortable! It did take a bit of tweaking though as I thought I would like it more firm as I like to side sleep. The first couple of nights were a bit rough as I tossed and turned a bit in my sleep—I found that I couldn’t get comfortable on my side. For the reviews that say that it deflates after sleeping on it, I can say that it did seem to lose some air after the first two nights. The manufacturer does state that it does “stretch†and not deflate. As I wanted to test that statement, I didn’t change the firmness of it by re-inflating it to where I had it. The third and fourth nights were better sleep and I didn’t feel like the mattress deflated at all, so I found the stretch statement to be valid—it wasn’t losing air. After that night, I re-inflated it to where I thought I’d like it. The next night was the same tossing and turning that I had those first two nights, so I concluded that I needed to make it less firm and I actually DEflated it a bit and for the rest of the stay it was perfect! I didn’t have to touch it and I even unplugged it.When I was getting ready to leave, I started the deflation process by turning the dial in the opposite direction. It took longer to deflate, so I walked away for a bit—I’d guess about 7-8 minutes. When I came back the mattress was flat as a pancake and ready to fold. This is the only hassle of the process as folding it to get it into the storage bag and back into the box (for storage). I do like the tote that they provide as the handles make it easy to lug about. So, the first use was a success. If repeated uses reveal issues, I’ll report back. I will say that I plan to buy another one to replace our beloved Costco air mattress—she’s showing her age and the height of this one as well as the cost make it a no-brainer to get it as a second. We’ll use this one until it dies (if it even does) and then fall back on our old one if needed. I gave an overall 5 stars for the product with 4 stars for sleep quality and comfort only because your idea of these two might be a bit of a learning experience until you find your inflation sweet spot—so it’s not just an “inflate fully and use†type of scenario.

Easy to use. Very comfortable. I recently bought an inflatable bed, and it's incredibly easy to set up with the built-in electric pump and inflates quickly. The bed is surprisingly comfortable and durable, providing firm support without deflating overnight.

Worked well the first few times we used it but the seal around the pump began to fail after a while. Lasts maybe 2 years with occasional sustained use.We use it for holiday guests so about 2 weeks of continuous use twice a year with one person sleeping on it. It held up fine the first year but year two had some definite leakage. Year three ended up with me laying on the floor in the morning because it had lost so much air overnight. We took it outside and soaped the whole thing down looking for any holes more than once. No holes which does say good things about the durability of the material but meant we couldn't just patch the problem. I'm pretty sure it's the built in pump mechanism that is the leak.It is comfortable, I like the height and the air disbursement system inside means you don't sag in one spot or roll towards the middle. Great design.

Intex model AP619D 110v-120v is wrong for GB. Couldn’t use it as it can with wrong plug and wrong voltage. Very disappointed as it was more expensive that ones we have bought before. Am sending it back

This is by far the best raised inflatable bed out there. We had this model for years a while back and loved it but decided to “upgrade†to a newer one. We must have tried a dozen “higher quality†mattresses but they were all terrible in their own special ways. This mattress is supper sturdy yet comfortable with a nice flat top (not those divot riddles ones like most). Pumps up quickly & holds air really well & the dimensions are actually accurate *it’s actually 60inch wide *not 54-56 like some other “queens†we bought and it’s actually 22in hight so easy to sit on. The top is also pretty flat so you get the full top as a sleeping service (some other have this large 3inch raised wall around the top reducing the sleeping service even more). Most importantly it’s much cheaper than some others out there. Would highly recommend.

Amazing purchase! I bought this air mattress a year ago for guests visiting and have no regrets. So high off the ground like a regular queen bed so looks good, doesn’t lose any air, so fast to inflate and deflate, and almost all of my guests have been blown away by it. It is a firm sleep so I added a fitted sheet mattress cover with a soft layer, only because the bed is too big for a foam topper and a fitted sheet. Other than one senior friend with sore hips, all of my guests have enjoyed this bed (so far about 5 people have slept on it for up to ten days and it never needed inflating!). I also had it set up in the basement and slept on it myself during a heat wave and was out like a baby! Don’t hesitate at all; great buy!
