My two-year-old grandson loves this set and plays with it all the time. Don't expect serious instruments; they are just toy pieces. The horn is impossible to blow - hard even for an adult. But you can still pretend with it and push the buttons. They all make sounds and are great to pretend with.

Got this for my son he is 3yrs old (don't recommend for an older child), and he loved it. Specially the trumpet. It brings all the toys inside the drums. If you have a child that is a lil bit rough on toys you might think about it twice as the drums base is made out of plastic.

I really liked the value of this product: it comes with a lot of toys for the price. The quality isn’t amazing, about what you’d expect for the price range. The only real problem with these toys is that a lot of the instruments are inaccurate and aren’t great for actually learning about the instruments they represent. The trumpet has an extra valve which is kind of weird, and the valves don’t change the sound at all. The low notes on the recorder end up being half steps instead of whole steps and the harmonica is funny in that you can only blow out on one side and on the other side you can only breathe in. But the maracas, tambourine and drum are great and both my one year old and my two year old love playing with everything. There really are a ton of instruments in here and it’s very easy to share! Lots of fun! But if you’re a music person, the inaccuracies might bother you a bit.

My 18 month old son, who loves music, immediately loved this. The concept is really good — everything fits inside the drum for easy storage. The drum however would never stay shut, and was not durable. The “trumpet†makes no sound, and he was too young for the recorder but he loved trying to put it together (it’s two pieces). After about a month of joy and frustration, I’ve thrown this away. It was a fine quarantine purchase but it wasn’t right for us.
