My elderly mother has limited range of motion in her arms and was struggling to get the remote and TV to communicate without a major struggle. I set this up in under 2 minutes and it worked immediately. In her situation we mounted the receiver portion above her tv and there is no lag and the tv responds to her remote with little effort from her. She was so happy with this solution and so was I. Amazing price for a great solution to a very frustrating problem. I can’t speak as to how well it would work on a very large room but it does amazingly well in her averaged sized living room. Cord length was more than adequate on her 65 inch tv.

This functions but the sensor LED on the detector constantly blinks a little bit. It's like detecting noise or something like that. Not good because especially in the dark it's an attention getter. Otherwise it's easy to set up and work but they need to fix that

Our cable box is located behind a glass cabinet which caused it to pick up artifacts from the TV so the picture would go to a gray screen occasionally and/or lose sound. Leaving the cabinet door open solved the problem, but was not an ideal solution. After some research I found that some remote control IR Repeaters would solve or reduce the artifact problem. The BAFX 1452 was rated good for artifact rejection, but unfortunately Amazon no longer stocks that model, so ordered this item. It does repeat everything well, including artifacts, so this item didn't help with the problem. Finally I found another source for the BAFX model and it solved the problem. Bottom line, this item is fine if artifacts are not an issue.

We use this with our home movie room on movie night. We have a projector mounted in the ceiling so it is hard for the projector to catch the signal of the remote. We used to have to point the remote directly at the projector to get it to work. Now, we can sit in our movie chairs and point the remote toward the screen, just like we are watching a regular ole TV. It has made a big difference in our movie nights.

I could not get the ir to work. It never flashes when you send an IR signal to it.
