Ordered this Ironing Board Cover and Pad - Standard Size 15x54 - Thick Padding - Elastic Edge withVelcro Straps for our vintage ironing board. Our old cover/pad was finally worn clear out and looked awful. Recently while shopping online for some laundry accessories, I saw this full size ironing board cover that came with thick padding, elastic edges, and after measuring our old ironing board, I ordered it. The cover came with the blue floral design and material is smooth and with padding. I liked the elastic edges and when stretching it out tight, it fit our board. We were able to get it on snug and the Velcro straps made it fit a lot better. In my opinion, I would call it a "medium pad thickness", not heavy duty.It fit good and tight all over, except the smaller end would not fit tightly like the rest of cover does.I feel that just another Velcro strap would have solved this problem. But we have it on, it works good and has a nice smooth and soft padding to iron our clothes. I rate it a (4) star because of the needed front strap.

This thing is like 6" too short. I don't know if this is a quality control issue or what but it doesn't even come close to fitting.

Really nice ironing board cover! The padding on it is good! my mom might put the foam that came with her older cover under if she wants a bit more cushioning and to add bulk to make the cover a little more flat.^-^Cover has two Velcro straps. At first we were not sure the front strap would fit under the leg when collapsing the board but even when pulling the straps tight there’s still enough space for the leg to slip under it without having to undo it every time.

It says it is supposed to be standard size, which my ironing board is, but when I tried it on my board, the size wasn't quite right. Seemed like the front was pointier, and my board was more wide. So it wasn't a perfect fit. But aside from that, the fabric pattern looked nice. And it did fit my board length, just not that great on the tip side.

We replaced our old ironing board cover with this one. Our ironing board is 15" x 54". It is a nice snug fit. There is an elastic running all around the edge, like a fitted sheet. We found it easiest to put the large end on first, then pull the pointed end in place. It is plenty tight and secure, and there are two Velcro straps on the underside which we fastened as well.The surface is nice and smooth and has a built-in padding. The pad is part of the cover, not a separate piece. There is a little extra cover material at the pointed end, but not too noticeable. (Some boards may be shaped differently at the pointed end).There were some wrinkles in the cover, but they smoothed out quickly.This is a nice attractive cover which does the job at a good price point.

I really needed a new ironing board cover! This one is very nice. Fit was perfect, the padding is built right onto the cover and it has two Velcro straps to hold it in place. And it’s pretty!
