This was the only ironing board cover I could find that would fit my antiques/vintage ironing board that I actually wanted to use. It fit perfectly and it is way better than expected. Extremely high-quality. Lots of quilted layers, which makes it so that I can use my vintage ironing board, which is 100% wood with this cover, absolutely amazing!

This is my second TIVIT ironing Board Cover - I wore the other out - no fault of the cover. I do a lot of pressing in my sewing and quilting and cover is excellent and makes all the difference in getting a smooth pressed finish.

I've been a seamstress for nearly 50 years (I started young). I am about to start a fairly big project sewing shirts and decided that I needed to upgrade a few things in preparation....and I'm SOOOO glad I chose this cover. It fits my ironing board beautifully with the right snug-ness...it is padded enough - but not too much; the fabric reflects a comfortable level of heat & has a bit of a roughness (don't know how to explain that better) so I can iron little pieces easily; AND it "reflects" enough heat that ironing one side is sufficient. Even with my old beloved iron, everything - clothes & sewing projects - come out perfect! I've always said that having the right tools for the job is important, but I had forgotten over the years how much having the right ironing board set is an integral part of the craft of sewing - a vast improvement over the cheap covers I've had over and over in the last few years. This cover is just about as good as my Mama's old board cover from 40 years ago...
