The throttle body on my 2014 jeep patriot was malfunctioning last summer and my jeep was stuck in "limp" mode. All the part stores I called wanted between $350-500 for a new one. I saw somebody recommend this on a forum and I have to agree with the recommendation! This was so affordable. The ones at the part store are higher quality but this was easy to install and I've had no issues for 9 months

Ordered to replace a dead throttle body on a 2012 Jeep Compass 2.4L. Was wary of the steeply discounted price vs OEM ($200-$300) but decided to try it after seeing positive reviews. Looked to be a good match for broken part and appreciated that the TB gasket was also included. Once installed, put everything back together and disconnected the negative from battery for 10 minutes to reset codes/computer. Started it up and the codes stayed cleared. Test drove it for about 10 minutes around the neighborhood while monitoring ECU values from the OBDII module to Torque Pro on my phone. Throttle values responded appropriately to pedal input and there were no obvious issues.For now, very satisfied with the product. Will update review if the part fails prematurely and/or issues with making a warranty claim within the first year.
