**Use & Care**
Wash Ironwood Gourmet products in warm, soapy water and thoroughly rinse with clean water. Do not soak. To dry, prop up off of counter to allow all surfaces to air dry evenly. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher.
After drying, rejuvenate and protect the wood by rubbing it down with Ironwood Butcher Block Oil. Apply the oil liberally and allow it to soak in thoroughly before use. Regular application of our Butcher Block Oil will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colors of the wood.

I keep Maldon's regular sea salt flakes in the top and Maldon's smoked sea salt flakes in the bottom compartment. The double-height salt cells make a marvelous addition to the table.

This is one of my favorite kitchen utilities. Very good construction. Functions as advertised. I've had it for quite awhile now, and use it every day. I prefer this over two separate containers. It's a lot more convenient and takes up less counter space without sacrificing the amount of salt and pepper I can store. If you're getting into cooking, throw away the shakers and use your fingers for adding salt and pepper.

Beautiful product, amazing gift. Use mineral oil to clean it and keep it pretty. Also helps with the sliding of the different containers

I love the look and the ability to have coarse salt and pepper in them, or 2 different coarse salts. The only think I find could be improved is the swivel works so well that it isn't easy to close. Swings open or shifts at slightest tap. The single ones often have a little magnet to help with this. Wish the double one di. But overall happy with purchase.

Ironically swinging the bottom shelf open for some salt the first week I had it, it broke. Also don’t like that it didn’t have a magnet system to keep closed.
