The RWIN Hanson 6852 Die 5/8-11 1 7/16 NC Sh works good. I was able to use it with a 1.5" deep socket that is used for the installation and removal of hot water heater elements.

Worked great, threaded a couple of rod ends for a tree catching apparatus I made. I had to cut down a 80 foot tree and had very little room to fell it. I let the bottom half catch the top half, worked like a charm.

t did not perform well threading cold roll steel. Had to cut diameter of rod .010 under normal size to get it to thread decent. I also purchased the same die that was a no name import at 1/2 the price. It out performed this die
