I was trying to find a way to thread a 7/8" rod without having to take it to a machine shop or put it on a lathe. This die did just the job! It saved me from having to spend a lot of money on purchasing a replacement part. Just take your time and use plenty of cutting oil and you should get the results you're looking for. I didn't have a handle large enough to put in so I used a pipe wrench, not optimal but if I can do it with a pipe wrench then I can only imagine how much better it should work with the right handle.

I chose this product because I saw that it was made in the USA and by a company that I trust because I've used there products in the past. It, of course, met my needs perfectly and I will continue to purchase their merchandise for as long as the made in USA quality exists. I absolutely favor made in USA products, MOST are of a much better standard material, fit and function.
