I'm very surprised that Amazon would carry this type of tool. I only needed it to tap one whole in a steel tank and it worked well.

The Item picture is not proper as it is a very large tap.But item worked well to cut threads in a 2" coupler

Does not have a center in the square drive end. So I am returning. It will cost me more to fix it, than to buy a more expensive tap with a center already there. My purpose is for high precision aerospace work. It will probably work fine for cleaning damaged threads. Not for professional machining work.
