Not so great. I was cutting threads in aluminium and this tap would not do it. I thought the drill bit I used was too small, although its what the tap called for on the package. I grabbed my cheapo tap from my cheapo set and that cut like it should. So it was the Irwin tap. At least it didn't break off!
