If you thought this was a big jug of white chalk then you would be correct. I bought this for chalking dark surfaces and gray surfaces and when there's enough chalk on the string it's easily to be seen. When there's not enough chalk on the string it becomes harder to see. If the surface is dark in advance easy to see. This is white chalk in powder form. Works as described.

Ever tried to draw a body line on grass with a piece of chalk? not possible. use this instead and the kids will believe you when you tell them uncle Freddy passed away and won't be coming for Christmas dinner. or better yet, pour it in your friend's A/C vent in his car after he parks. when he fired up the A/C he'll think his car exploded and he's been blown up by terrorists! works every time! (not counting when the kids got me with the same prank). They taught me, but I PERFECTED IT!

Used this white chalk for years now. While it is not considered "dust off", it is very easily vacuumed/broomed/dry wiped up without leaving a trace. It is very visible in low light applications and does not stain hands or clothing.
