I bought this for my vehicle and to my suprise my son removed it from my vehicle and put it in his. He has yet to return it so I'm purchasing another one. He likes the length of the cord and the fact that it also charges the phone while using the aux.

I purchased a similar version that didn’t always charge my phone, and eventually stopped working altogether after 5-6 months. This one seemed better in quality and design. The fit was good, just enough length and flexibility, sound quality unchanged. Value great. Now I can’t speak to durability much because I only had it for a couple months before I purchased a much newer vehicle that had Bluetooth audio. However I keep it in my center console just in case I dont want to pair someone else’s phone to my car to play their audio. Good purchase and good price the quality was better than my last one at the same price.

Yes, you can plug it into your iphone and get audio out and charging in at the same time, which is cool.However, the lightning connector is loose and wiggly and makes crackly noises and sometimes disconnects. It’s a connector design flaw, not a manufacturing defect. This is not a problem with other lightning devices I own.Also, even though it doesn’t have an audio input, my phone thinks it does. This means you can listen to music with it, but forget trying to answer a phone call or duolingo or anything else that requires audio input. As soon as you plug it in, the phone uses it as the selected input device and just gets zero audio. Poor engineering design.That’s a deal breaker for me, I’m going to have to return it.

I was really pleased with the cable, as it provides decent sound quality and it charges your phone at the same time, though the charging felt a little bit on the slower side, I didn't mind much. However, a few months after the purchase, it stopped working and based on the reviews, I'm not the only one. However, since it's relatively cheap and there are not many alternatives, I ordered it again, and that's also the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 3. But it might be a good idea to order 2 at the beginning so that you're not left with a silent roadtrip as I was.

i was using a splitter cord for many years, having to choose between either charging or listening to music, and i don't know why i waited so long to get this! it works really well, charges fast / has good sound quality, and i love it!

Audio works but does not charge for an iPhone 11. Tried it with 3 different phones and none charged.
