This ladder/harness is very sturdy and well made. We are on the 4th floor so it should work out well though we haven't tried it out yet.The harness is a challenge. The directions that come with it are quite vague. We watched the video many times before figuring out how to put it on. It took us at least an hour to finally figure it out. Then we marked the front right, front left, right leg, and left leg on the straps with a magic marker. This helped us orient the harness correctly on another attempt weeks later.The entire apparatus does take up a bit of space in our condo but we do feel safer knowing we have this option if ever needed.

This review docks stars because the item description was inaccurate. It says hooks are included, but it is actually carabiners that are included, and you have to order and pay for the hooks that go over the window ledge. They were sloppy with the language and in the end insisted they were right and did not provide the hooks. I think it is an English-as-a-second-language problem. I don't think they meant to rip me off, but the fact is I didn't get what I thought I was paying for.

Great buy.... IF YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH!!!! So I bought this to use as a ladder, which to be fair, it did hold me up... BUT ONLY FOR A FEW MINUTES. Then the yellow steps began to completely snap right from under me! So yeah the harness is legit and decent. The ladder IS COMPLETELY UNSAFE.

This rope ladder has nothing to prevent you from swinging around in circles around it as you try to go up or down. I tried tying it to guylines on each side, but that wasn't enough. You need a pair of guylines at each rung or you will swing around. So I returned it.

Harness better than expected. Plan to use to go up a sailboat mast. I tried the ladder at home and it seems sturdy (I'm 160 lbs)

Länge wäre passend gewesen, aber wegen des Mangels ging sie zurück. Der Fallschutz Gurt hätte auch gepasst- regelmäßiges Anziehüben vorausgesetzt für den Einsatzfall- aber die Karabiner waren recht scharfkantig
