HOW TO USE

I needed wall anchors I could depend on to mount grab bars around the house for my wife, who has a mobility impairment. The anchors that came with the bars are cheap plastic and break during installation.I am over 200 lbs and can pull on the bars using these anchors without them yielding. I recommend considering these if you want anchors you can depend on.

This only enlarged the hole, and did not grip the drywall well. It actually tore up the wall, instead of gripping as it should, so now I am patching a wall and repainting.

Bought this after some poor quality work performed by a not so good contractor in my new bathroom. Thin dry wall was used and could not get the towel and clothes racks to stay...wall plugs didn't have enough support so the racks kept coming loose. Once I found these I purchased and installed very easily.

The product does not work. The anchor portion breaks off in the wall, does not anchor evenly, and does not allow for removal and replacement of screw.I put two in the wall, anchored them, and removed the screw only to realize that the teeth of the screw were not in contact with anything. The screw moves freely back-and-forth. I easily removed these anchors as the anchor sides bent once and broke off.I attempted a third anchor. Again to realize that the screw, once removed, cannot be replaced.

I'm excited to find metal wall anchors. It seems that only nylon is available for the most part. These wall anchors work well, but it is easy to overscrew the anchor. In other anchors, I'm use to tightening them until I see it start to bite into the exterior drywall, then I know it is in fully. On 1 in 4 these anchors, the inside of the anchor can strip out if you secure it to that point. It will still hold the screw, but you'll have about a 1/8" gap that you can't tighten past, so you'll have some wobble. If that is not important to you, these are absolutely great! We love this type of Molly bolt to attach most everything with any weight to the wall. We found these good, the quality slightly less than others we bought, but it really didn’t effect anything. We purchase the Molly bolt tool, but returned it. We found using the traditional way worked best.
