I love this elegant espresso maker!! It works great (don’t tamp down the grounds) and looks really attractive! Wash and dry after every use and it will last forever! Recommended.

This moka pot brews great-tasting espresso-like coffee, and I can’t believe it’s so underrated! The bottom chamber is made of thick, durable stainless steel—much more heavy-duty than another moka pot I own. However, due to its sturdier construction, it is also heavier than thinner moka pots. This is something to consider if you plan to use it while camping or need to be mindful of the weight you carry or pack for travel. It also features a convenient water level mark, which is particularly helpful for those new to brewing coffee with a moka pot. The bottom is designed to prevent dry-boiling by leaving some water in the chamber after full extraction. This is a normal performance feature and not a flaw. The stainless steel filter chamber has finer perforations than other moka pots, doing an excellent job of keeping coffee grounds out. Be sure to tighten the top chamber securely ensuring a good seal but not so tight that it becomes difficult to unscrew after brewing.I chose the black powder-coated stainless steel version and was initially concerned about the durability of the coating. However, I’m happy to report that the finish is high quality. The only minor wear I’ve noticed is a small scratch where the lid stopper rests against the upper chamber body, right above the handle. A rubber cushion in this area would be a great design improvement. In the meantime, I’ve placed a wide rubber band there to protect the finish—it works well, though it’s not the most stylish solution. Another small improvement I’d suggest is adding a handle on the lid for easier opening, though the existing stopper on the back of the lid works quite well. What I really love about this moka pot is its eco-friendly solid stainless steel handle instead of a plastic one. I use this moka pot on an electric hot plate and have had no issues with the handle getting hot. When using it over a gas flame, it’s important to position the handle away from direct heat, as with any moka pot.I’ve been using this moka pot for four months now, and it has performed consistently well. It takes about 12 minutes to brew coffee on a 500W electric hot plate set to medium heat. You need to watch it closely—especially if you prefer to stop extraction before it gets too watery. If you hear a hissing sound, the top chamber is almost full, and the coffee may become more diluted, so practice makes perfect. While this moka pot is designed to make six espresso cups, I sometimes brew a double espresso for myself by using less coffee and stopping extraction earlier. This allows for flexibility—you can make up to six strong espressos or one larger, less intense cup, depending on your technique and proportions.Cleanup is straightforward. I always hand wash it thoroughly with soap as soon as it cools down, making sure to rinse and flush the tubing well.I highly recommend this 100% stainless steel moka pot, which is free from the toxic chemicals often found in automatic espresso machines that use plastic components or in aluminum moka pots. It’s exceptionally well-made, outperforming many higher-priced alternatives. You can’t go wrong with this one, especially if you opt for the uncoated stainless steel version.

I was using a French press but decided to give the Mocha pot a try. I use boiled bottled water and stove on low, for a perfectcip of coffee. This mocha pot is pretty & without aluminum. Stainless steel is so easy to keep clean & shiny.

The water does not completely disperse to the top portion, there are pieces that can not be cleaned that fill up with coffee grounds and the copper finish is very thin and pealing off after a few uses. I expected more from this product.
