To help prevent surface damage to welding filter plates and auto-darkening lenses, clear safety plates should always be inserted in front for protection.

The replacement fit perfect like the original the safety plates that come with it ain't top rate quality but we get them at work for free anyways I mainly needed the unit that holds it all together and that fit perfect just like the original

Great product over all. No matter what I do certain air bubbles refuse to leave. I’m sure it’s my fault and not the manufacturer. Package arrived undamaged and as described. High quality product.
