Shade 11 lens for welding and that was my intended use. One pair arrived intact and work as expected for a shade 11 lens. Good for my TIG, Flux, and Stick welding projects. Fits my welding helmet perfectly. Very satisfied with the product :-)Second pair I ordered arrived BROKEN and needed to be returned. This was a shipping error since glass shipped in a padded envelope is a BAD idea :-(

We ordered these to safely view the eclipse. My husband didn’t trust the free paper glasses and knew the glass in his welding helmets wasn’t dark enough. These little pieces of printed glass worked great. It was really cool to witness the eclipse - and not be worried about eye damage. I’m sure they’d be great in a welding helmet too.

I used this for an eclipse and it worked well. I don't think I got the right shade. But with sunglasses it worked well foe what I needed it to do. 2 pair. Not too expensive

This welding glass provided much clearer view than cheap paper frame eclipse glasses. I have no vision damage after viewing eclipse through welding filter glass.

Was well identified with the specification of shade level. At lesat level 12 is required to safely look at the upcoming solar eclipse.

Good quality glass IMHO.I have no way to measure, but from experience it looks like Shade 13.The edges of the glass are chamfered, the glass is well packed. I bought 2 sets of two glasses. But still, the edge of one glass chipped off a little. But it doesn't matter and I can sand it down.
