STS-PS
Slick stainless cables undergo a polishing process to further remove imperfections. This creates a smoother surface with lower friction than PTFE-coated cables. With no coating, these are highly durable and compatible with all performance housings and lubricants. Typically used on high-end bikes, by riders wanting improved performance. Gold tint is applied for easy identification.

LEX-SL - Linear steel strands around a Slick-Lube liner
Linear strands of steel are used to encircle the Slick-Lube Liner creating a compressionless ring. This delivers responsive, precise, crisp performance necessary in shift applications.

Been using Jagwire products forever. This set was to run a full seal (no break in the housing from lever to derailleur) on my gravel bike as the dust, muck, mud, etc. ran roughshod over any exposed cable.Shifting is flawless and after a couple hundred miles I haven't experience any cable stretch.Jagwire has always been a solid product at a great price point.

I run a Shimano XT drivtrain and have always used the optislick cables with no issues. When I needed a new cable, I decided to replace the housing as well and Jagwire always looked appealing so I decided to give it them a shot. Noticeably quicker shifts right away compared to a new optislick cable and similar priced. Couldn't be more pleased and would definitely recommend.

Jagwire makes an awesome product! Used them for years in my mountain bike for shifter and dropper cables. This one is super long...didn't pay attention to length when I ordered. This is at least 18-20 inches longer than the last JW kit I received. Going to attempt to cut the housing and replace end piece.

I had a problem with hesitant shifting. In an attempt to solve this I replaced the chain, then the cluster, then the derailleur - with little improvement. Then I replaced the cable with this Jagwire product, and voilà ! - the shifting is crisp again. I now have an adjustment range of ~10 steps with good shifting, where before even with optimum adjustment it was hesitating.

Not much to say about the kit other than Jagwire makes a quality product. I have never had a problem with their kits over the years and would even go as far as saying their kit is better than the Shimano alternative from a quality/price perspective. This kit comes with all the accessories you need to install a 1X setup. In addition, the wire is coated for added performance and protection. When I need a quality derailleur kit, I always lean towards the Jagwire option.

This is my go-to cable and housing for adding/replacing dropper post cables. The cable and housing are of good quality, and the cable is stainless steel so it should not rust. It is pre-stretched, so it doesn't require a lot of adjustment after being installed. The included ferrules and cable ends are more than you will need to complete an install.

My old shifter cable snapped and got jammed in the housing on my Urban Arrow and I needed to do the full replacement. I admit, I was a bit scared at first since I didn’t know the exact length needed. It turns out the housing fits perfectly out of the box, no need to cut at all (which will also save you an expensive housing cutter tool). Well ok, if I were a perfectionist I’d cut some 2 cm off but it doesn’t really bother me. The cables themselves need to be cut to measure as per the enviolo hub requirements that can easily be found by doing a search on the Internet or Youtube (don’t be scared if you’re not perfectly on measure since they can be adjusted from the shifter afterwards) . All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase, and it proved easier to replace than I thought
