Color I wanted, great size that I can also use for shift cable caps if I want to, and so many that I don't think I'll ever run out! ..well not for a while anyway. They work perfectly! Definitely recommend this product. Very worthy of the Shimano name even if they're only caps.

Yup, these are basic silver colored aluminum cable crimps. If you work on bikes, you are gonna need 'em. These are the bigger size, so they can be used on brake cables (1.6mm) AND shifter cables (1.2mm, if you are not too picky it.) I crimp them shut with a round nose pliers, none have ever fallen off. No rough edges, and decently finished. Thanks for reading, and I hope the review is helpful. Time to ride!

I've used these on 2 bike rebuilds on both shifter and brake cable ends. They work great. I won't take a star off for it but it would be nice if the bag was resealable. I just crimp them with the cutter on a pair of needle nose pliers - just don't squeeze to hard and cut them. I usually do 2 crimps.

BY FAR the best caps I've ever seen. I'm... I'm stunned, these things are just amazing.Alright. So, they're silver, and they're caps, AND they work on both shifter as well as brake cables. The only problem is that 100 just doesn't seem like enough. I need a thousand... TEN thousand, no... ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND of these so I can bathe in them, so I can submerge my body in these things. Then I'd grab them by the handful and drizzle them all over my bare chest.

Awesome. I reserve 5 stars for products that come with free beer, this item did not, but completely fullfilled any reasonable expectation. Shimano is a good company, these end caps are perfect for the job. Would buy again. A+.

What's to say? These are Shimano brake cable ends. They fit perfectly and using proper tools install easily. Cost at a box of 100 is much better than purchasing a few in a pack. Will take me some time to use all these but this way I've got a good supply and didn't pay some silly $#@% price for a few of them.

Caps are a good fit on brake cables, but will be loose/sloppy fit on shift cables. Very consistent dimensions across all pieces, unlike some cheap no-name caps that vary quite a bit from one to the next.
