I have ordered three plasric parts for my wing mirror from the same company (although they arrived a few days apart); I will paste this review for all three.One part —mirror cover aka skull cap — is painted to the car’s color (blue in my case); the color match is perfect. Even knowing that one of my mirrors is not original, you won’t be able to tell which one.There is a video on YouTube by Jaronx explaining how to put it all together. Everything worked well except that one of the pegs (hooks) on the inside of the mirror cover (near the tip) wouldn’t go into the corresponding hole in the bottom cover. I tried a few times and little hook ended up breaking off. However there are several other hooks that fit perfectly and the whole mirror looks like new and has just survived a 150-mile trip. I will take one star off for the little mismatch but overall I am very happy.

Swapped this out for one that was broken moving into the garage...perfect for a DYI person...with some plastic pry tools and bit of patience to remove the old one....the new one snaps on easily

Came with the small latch pieces already broken off or in the process of being completely broken off. Which caused the cover to not fit properly. Will be sending back for a refund.

First of all, I thank the company for manufacturing this. My passenger side mirror housing was fully broken but the mirror and the mechanics were working fine. Tesla quoted $1240 to replace the mirror. I would have been fine if the replacement was less than $500 but their exorbitant price made me look for alternates and I landed on this. I bought the Jaronx base cover also along with this. While I successfully replaced the entire housing (3 pieces), there was still a visible gap between the base and this top cover despite both pieces coming from same manufacturer. But I don’t care as one has to look for the gap. This is really a good product at a great price. Highly recommend.
