As you may have read other reviews knocking the quality of this lever keep this in mind. The reason these break is mostly due to the cable being too stiff and needing to be lubricated. A stiff unlubricated cable puts too much pressure on this lever and causes them to break. Buy a cable luber and lube the cable while this is apart. Or buy a new cable with this lever. If you make sure the cable is lubed and working properly this lever will last a long time.
