This bedliner is supposedly the best. Since my application is not typical - my review must be considered somewhat subjective. I read on a forum where heavy equipment operators use it to seal/coat their treated wood planks on utility trailer decks when they replace them. This brand in particular is specified as the best to weather proof and block UV damage, while holding up to all sorts of abrasive traffic , maintaining its adhesion, and aesthetic good looks.Well I need to replace the decking in my trailer and wanted a life time job. I purchased the best marine grade treated pine planks accessible in my area - since no exotic hard woods were available. I bought 4 qts. The shock for me was opening the cans! They are nearly impossible to open - appearing like paint cans but theMetal is softer and std paint can openers will not pry them off by working around the lid circumference as is typically done. Once I FINALLY removed the lid it was obvious it could never be replaced to close again. So either you use it all up immediately or have a new airtight container ready to transfer the leftovers into when you are done. Xylene is the only recommended thinner for this, so having some standing by is also a good idea. The stuff did mix fine and seems to coat the wood surfaces with fair uniformity using a roller to apply it. I also used a brush to apply it to edges of the wood. Time will tell so far as the major issues of how it works, stays on, and protects. But those cans ate a real PITA - and I had to subtract stars just because of the mismatch experience I felt after selecting such a high cost, great reputation product, but then not being able to easily dispense or store it for use. One of the cans was dented up on its bottom as well, but it didn’t seem to be a factor in the overall experience. Just strange.EDIT 6/20/2020:I bumped the star rating up to 4, (from my previous 2). This stuff is likely to be the best coating/sealer product I have ever used. Since my personal application is not the primary app of lining a truck bed - it is the raw properties of its chemical make-up that I am rating. This coating bonds thoroughly to any surface it is correctly applied to, and seems to be impervious to chipping or peeling - even by heavier forces. Before using it on my trailer, I used it on a test project first, building and protecting an outdoor handicap ramp for my mother's porch.Cutting treated lumber for stringers, but only regular plywood for the top surface - I coated the plywood on all sides and the treated wood on cuts and sides that are visible. The plywood is also glued/screwed to the support stringers, which also anchor via steel angle brackets into the concrete pad of the porch. The coating performance thus far has been a real show-stopper. Its non-skid surface is perfect texture, once cured, and as long as you stir it regularly during application, it applies fairly evenly. I used a roller and some assistance of a foam brush. The coating seems to laugh at water, and will not scuff, scratch or peel off - without taking the top material surface off with it. It penetrates and bonds without mercy. My next app is going to be the re-decking of that utility trailer. It is a 4 yr old trailer I had made by Texas Bragg, but the dealer up here failed to inform me that using treated wood on the deck was "an upgrade". I never knew any trailer would be made without it! So it quickly rotted - and I am stuck with a Rolls Royce heavy-duty trailer - but low-rent rotted decking. So I am soon to be engaged in replacing the original planks with treated lumber - and you can bet your bottom dollar the the wood will all first be coated with Herculiner - NOT a knock-off either!BTW - the pricing at my local B&M hardware store is nine dollars less per quart, compared to this seller I bout the first 4 from. But I definitely recommend this stuff to anyone needing a sealer or lining that won't disappoint.

Used 2 coats on RV bumper/black water hose storage. Came out looking great and no need for no slip straps for the area for ladder access.

Only liner product I will use. Extremely durable. Fairly easy to apply. If it dries on anything its there to stay. Best bed liner product on the market in my opinion.

Love this product! Takes a while to dry. I did 2 coats. Very dark color and came out fantastic. Of note, I used a cheap paint brush and saved it on instead of rolling. Just as disable as line x and half the cost. Remember to sand, acetone, tape, and dab it on

Was fairly easy to apply, good coverage, hard to find anything to complain about.I got the Quart Size container, i just used it to wrap the bed rails/tailgate as I took off the factory plastic caps (they interfered with my tonneau cover), I still have 1/2-3/4 of the quart left on a 5 foot box.

The product is good. First class in my opinion. Dries fast with good film thickness. It's been a couple of months since I put it on my Freightliner to protect the fiberglass fenders from vibration damage and it's handling the task very well. I painted it to protect it against UV damage and it took the paint OK. While the product is good, the packaging, not so much. I defy anyone to open the can without destroying the lid so forget about re-sealing it.

I used this to repair the plastic rocker trim panels in my 08 Jeep Liberty and so far so good. Easy to work with. Just washed, sanded and cleaned with xylene and put 2 coats on. Previous owner must have lived on gravel road because there was a hole in plastic in front of rear wheel. I made a metal patch and covered with Herculiner. Also used to repair the licence plate area as there was rust in upper edges. I found that if I wanted more texture to keep product well stirred and let it settle a bit for less.I recently removed factory trailer hitch and applied Herculiner and it looks awesome.
