I put this over my existing tailgate cover on my 23 Tundra. I just wanted to protect the original when something is set on there or slid across it. It could have been a little bit heavier material but it is doing the job.

The main mat is fine. The tailgate mat is an absolute a joke - it comes with a tiny narrow strip of double stick which isn't strong enough to hold the panel to the tailgate which peeled off after a few days.

It has nearly blow out several times when I hit freeway speeds. I either have to take it out or put heavy items on it to hold it down.

Once installed heat hit and the cheap rubber expanded and wouldn’t lay flat. Plus I have a tonneau cover. The tailgate wouldn’t close all the way, because of the thick lip. I had to cut the lip off, it fits now. Wouldn’t buying if you are making a permanent fix.

1. shipping in plastic bag and fold in half, product arrived not flat and so many area are bend and crushed. that why not sit flat at all like a glove2. Not fit 100 you have to do a little bit of modification.3. you have to cut out the top if you want your tailgate smoothly operation.If you just want to cover I guess is OK.if you want the perfection and something better look something else.zthe vinyl look cheap too.
