I replaced my F150's factory speakers with the JBL GTO 629s. Installation was very easy being that the order came with the fit ring adapter. Amazing! Especially amazing was that the adapters were only about an 1/8th inch thick which allowed for plenty of clearance between the speaker and the interior door panel. I ended up using the JBL speaker cover to give it more security and solid installation.Once powered (no amp), the sound was superb. High tones were very clear (tweeter), mid tones where crisp and not dull to the sound, and has bass kick was excellent. Even without an amp they sound amazing.Excellent value for the money.

Speakers pack a great punch without feeling like I need more bass. Great audio, easy to install, price fit my budget.Installed 4 onto my Chevy and will be installing onto my other trucks. JBL is definitely the way to go with audio products

They said they would fit my bike yet they did not when I tried to put them in. I’m sure they are a good quality speaker just didn’t get that far

Installed these in a can am defender. They sound great even without an amp! Would recommend these to anyone who is looking for 6.5’s

They are JBL, what's more to say. If you have a good deck these things rock! They do have bass but they are not a subwoofer. They compliment my 4,000 watt system very nice with treble amd some mid bass. I don't use them for low bass but they do sound very good

I installed these in my 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe and found them to be rather disappointing. I love powerful bass and these speakers just did not deliver when used with the OEM amplifier. I noted no improvement over my stock speakers. Perhaps an upgraded amplifier would help.

I purchased these speaker in the summer of 2024. I am now using them for more than 6 months. They are replacing the OEM speaker in a Jeep Wrangler JK 2 doors 2012. The ones over the head. For the price I paid for, I don’t think you can get a better sound quality. The build quality is next level compared to the OEM. They were at least twice the weight due to a much bigger magnet. I bought adapters for the wiring and the install was a breeze. I am thinking to buy a second set to change the one in the dash.
