I replaced the factory speakers in my ford focus that I drive back and forth to work. I did not expect a whole lot considering the price tag on these, but I was very impressed once I put them in. After adjusting the equalizer on my head unit, I will say that these produce very well rounded out highs and mid range sound and just enough bass to let you know it has some. They seem to be constructed well, decent sized magnets and nice cone and tweeter materials. These do not have an inline high pass filter/crossover, but I was not experiencing any issues once I set the proper cut off ranges on my head unit. If you are looking at upgrading your factory speakers, but don't want to break the bank, I would recommend these.

They went right in, but needed adapters. I really can't hear much difference at all, maybe a tiny bit.Probably best as oem replacements if factory speakers are blown.Nothing wrong with them, they are perfect, just not much of an upgrade over factory, so don't expect a big change in sound

I've been upgrading the factory system in my 2006 Lincoln LS with THX system by SoundMark.Rear speakers had foam rot, so I tried a pair of Skar 6 x 9's in place of the factory 6 x 9 subs. Huge upgrade, and I can't believe how low they get!Anyhoo, that upgrade exposed my door speakers as being subpar. Tried a pair of these Skar 6 x 8's for the front doors. (The rear doors still have the factory THX speakers).Boy did they do the trick! I faded front to back, back to front for a fair comparison. I just mashed "Buy Again" to get the rear door speakers upgraded lol.Thanks again Skar. And thank you for the extra decals!

1st time buying anything from skar. As sooon as i installed the speakers turned on the radio and woow suck an upgrade from stock nice and clear. Even though i didnt have stock had sone cheap after markets that sounded with static. But this are nice and clear and loud. For my 2001 f150 theyre perfect. Also this were the cheapest from skar money can buy and really happy. Now i can enjoy my music !

Sounds great when factory radio is barely up, but when at highway speeds with radio up to drown out road noise they sound blown.Have there tweeters also and samething.
