Very pretty. Very loud. Nice replacement for my 1966 Harley Sprint 250H.

Bought the 6 volt version for my 1969 Trabant. It was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. The horn is solid feeling and seems well-made. Unbolted the old one, installed the new one (I needed to slightly enlarge the bolt hole first), and hooked up the wires and that was it. It works well, is loud enough for my purposes, though I imagine the 12 volt version is louder. This looks to be a very good value for the price. Less costly than most of the alternatives and seems to work much better than the others, which seem to have lots of complaints.

Installed this horn in a 1980 Honda Twinstar (CM200), a 6V system that is obnoxiously difficult to work with in a 12 volt world. Apparently assembled by hand (per the box insert) in the USA, the physical quality is magnificent. All metal construction, nothing flimsy, and all tolerances were snug. SO much better than the Chinesium I'm used to these days. Sometimes, you just need to stop and appreciate quality machining. However, I did not appreciate the lack of meaningful instructions in the box. The insert shows a pointless diagram and marketing info about the product being made in the US. The insert also says it was tested after assembly - this was entirely untrue. The horn didn't work AT ALL out of the box. It was DOA.I learned a LOT about how horns work that day. Apparently, there is a screw on the backside which can be adjusted to change the tone of the horn. This screw was over-tightened and caused the horn to stop vibrating, meaning no noise. 30 seconds of adjustment (after 30 minutes of frustration, baking outside in the summer heat) yielded me a working horn. Why wasn't this critical information included in the instructions? If this is supposed to be common knowledge, it wasn't to me. Is this user error? I'm not so sure. Only curiosity saved me from returning an otherwise-functional product back to Amazon. Much more importantly, why would it be advertised as individually QA'd when it was broken out of the box? Now I know that such matter-of-fact statements can't be trusted from this manufacturer. It didn't sound when power was applied. That is the definition of dead-on-arrival.The impressive build quality paired with a super-reasonable price is the only reason why this is 4 stars. I'm conflicted, yet happy with giving it 4 stars and a recommendation.Only after much research and frustration was it determined that an adjustment needed to be made in order for it to even work. Nothing in the box or the included "instructions" made this clear. This horn was DOA to me. Once this screw was corrected after an improper manufacture, the installation was easy, tone quality was great, and the volume was SUPER LOUD for a 6V horn.

It's a lot louder than stock one replaced on 79 Honda XL250s. The tone seems to reach out. Looks nice too.

I had zero problems with this horn....maybe the other reviewers were less fortunate...but it’s a nice solid metal horn with a nice vintage look...certainly louder than my stock horn I was replacing..I’d say it’s worth the money to try, even if ya had to tinker with it a little...just know that maybe you will need to.

not only does the big screw in the back determine the sound, the small screw in the corner that is the adjustment for the contact is incorrectly adjusted. I do not think this is a huge deal breaker, but it took me a long time to figure out that was the cause and I even open the unit up and tested the circuit with an ohm meter.I think when you buy the unit, turn the small screw all the way in, turn the large screw all the way out. test the horn as you turn the small screw out until it is functioning. and then adjust the big screw in until the correct tone is reached

Plug & Play. Connected and it worked perfectly. Glad I did not have to fiddle with settings as some had described. Horn is relatively loud, looks good and delivered its promise.
