I have an antique typewriter that my granddaughter loves to play with. However, the 60+ year old ribbons weren't very functional, so I bought these as a replacement. They fit perfectly and now she can see what she is typing. Everybody is happy now!

Good looking print on my 1928 Remington portable. Had to spool off the ribbon onto the old spools. Mounted the old spool on the typewriter and held the new. Rolled the new ribbon onto the old spool then attached the end of the ribbon to the other old one. Best ribbon in several years!

These two tiny typewriter ribbon rolls are not going to fit any make or model of mid century typewriter that I know of. It says “Universalâ€, which is a lie. I measured the old ribbon on the Brother that I own and shopped accordingly. These are useless. There are two in this package so what does, “This is a set. DO NOT SEPARATE†mean? Wish I would’ve seen the Made In China disclosure before I put them in my basket. They are useless!
