This absolutely saved my ears!! I apparently developed an allergy to my earrings this year (no, they weren’t cheap earrings and I only wear the same pairs of studs) and my ears were constantly getting infected. I tried everything possible and thankfully came across this. I was a bit skeptical at first, but this has worked wonders for me in the month I’ve owned this now. I applied a few coats to the stems of the earrings and haven’t had any issues of my ears getting infected whatsoever

The product works, but it takes a day to apply and dry, then it doesn't last more than 2 months maybe 3 if lucky. If you don't mind reapplying it often and not being able to wear your jewelry then get this. I just bought a new ring in sterling silver and said f this. Oh I also noticed that my ring was very sparkly and clean looking when I first applied this then over time it looked dingy and dull then the coating peeled off completely.

I just wore this pair of earrings for 12 hours and didn't feel a thing - no warm earlobes, no itching, no burning. I haven't worn a pair of earrings for 12 hours in more than 20 years...and I got these at a gas station!!There is clearly something in this that truly shields from sensitivity. I just did 2 coats and let them dry for 2 days. I think it says somewhere to coat with silicone to make them go in easier and I'm not sure what kind of silicone they meant so I just coated them with antibiotic ointment and all was well.I'm going to be coating the cheap jewelry shown and really put this stuff to the test for durability and I will update this review to let everyone know how that goes.

I got this Jewelry Shield for my titanium watch that came with a stainless steel clasp . I applied one coat to the clasp only and gave it about 30 minutes. It dries pretty fast and yes it works . You have to be very careful when applying it because it can be seen after it dries if not done right. I would not recommend to apply this on an entire watch because you can see marks after it dries from the brush that comes with. I recommend using a better brush if you want it to look better. I do recommend this product

The first bottle I received was damaged, but the seller answered VERY quickly and was super nice. They shipped out a new bottle to me right away, which arrived quickly. This one was (thankfully) intact!So far I have used this on earring hooks (I can't handle brass earrings, they make me miserable). I followed the instructions and added a couple of coats to a pair of earrings, letting them set for a full 24 hours. I can wear them without irritation! It's such a welcome change!However, I did try to use this on chain for a bracelet. Though it certainly did coat it, I'm not sure I'm happy with the end result. I had to go through afterwards and move each chain link so that it wouldn't be stiff. So, all in all this may not be the best product for chain, but for earrings or a bracelet/cuff? Absolutely. I'm happy with it!

I do a lot of wire jewelry. I do not have a jewelry allergy so cannot relate to that however can attest to clear nail polish including gels wearing off. MY EXPERIENCE: I had purchased some magnetic clasps with crystals in them. I wanted to insure they would not fall out so I covered in Jewelry Shield. Works great. So then in working with some copper with blue beads on a woven bracelet I decided to use a Sharpie to coat the clear crystals set in the magnetic clasp a blue. DANG. This stuff went through an ammonia bath scrubbed with baking soda to prep for Liver of Sulpher.......then because LOS was a little dark, I threw into rotary tumbler with steel shot and a burnished for about two hours!!!!!! Crystals remained a pretty blue. SO NOW....when working with the Artistic wire that is copper filled, when you make a cut or sometimes get a nick in the wire it can be fixed with a Sharpie and covered with the jewelry shield. LOVE THIS STUFF and truly no nail polish I have used seems to hold up to stainless steel shot for several hours....unless maybe a gel clear using the uv light!

Very effective for protecting skin from metals that cause allergy. the coating also lasts a long time before wearing off. I highly recommend it.
