  • 1. Remove the protective cover.

    2. Turn clockwise to secure the clip and insert the blade. The blade teeth should face up.

    3. Release the clip and install the protective cover.

It doesn't feel as heavy and solid, or as durable as a real Dewalt, but it performs like one. I bought some very skinny blades so I could do some cuts like a scroll saw. The project went great and I was able to make precise cuts. Other people complained about the blades falling out. I think they just didn't know how to put them in. You have to push the blade until the tab clicks all the way back to to the retaining position. The blade retainer is metal, which is nice and sturdy. It is so convenient without having to deal with a cord. It is quieter than an electric version too. The real Dewalt batteries fit perfectly. I only have the 2AH, since those are the ones that came with my drill set. One battery lasted through all my cuts and still had plenty of power left. The trigger speed control is also nice. Much better than a dial on top. I'm retired, so I'll just use this for random hobbies on occasion. It seems like it will last for many years.

This jigsaw will work for small projects. It's no Dewalt, heavy duty. The only problem I see is getting blades. They are not standard fitting blades.

I don't use a jigsaw every day, and I have a collection of Dewalt batteries, so this was a good fit for me. So far i've been pleased. It feels kind of cheap in the hand because it is, but it cuts like a normal jigsaw and it has a light. Also, it with comes with a little collection of blades that cut just fine. I expect that it will last as long as one that costs twice as much.

All I've ever own was dewalt jig saws. Thought I would try this brand since compatible with there batteries. Wouldn't cut straight to save my life and no way to adjust and I should not of had too.

Rpms are lower than Dewalt but it works just fine.

This saw is great. It is strong and quiet and the laser + light make it a breeze to use.
