Does it sanitize and help with microscopic bugs? I don't know. I have many layers on top of my mattress (memory foam topper, it's custom cover, then a waterproof cover, then my sheet). So, using it on my mattress is probably pointless.I do, however, use it on my couch cushions because of the dogs. It does vacuum up the dust well, but the husky hair infiltrates the couch fibers so well, it's very hard to vacuum them up. It's a nice convenient size to use instead of pulling out the full size vacuum and dealing with hoses that don't reach far enough, etc.

this works like a charm on my mattresses and sofas. It has a lot of suction that pulls dust and dirt that is not visible to naked eye. I was shocked to see how much we pulled from our living room sofas that get the most traffic. The cleaner is easy to use and maintain. It has a bit of weight to it but it also makes it easier to maneuver under suction. We use this every time we wash our sheets and every 1-2 weeks on the sofas.

It's something I would like to use frequently to keep the beds, sofa dust free and very clean but I am not happy with its performance. Sometimes it's having hard time to even take a hair. I see the light below for sterilizing but it's weired that same area would give different cleanliness status upon moving several times. It's easy to use but can't surely say if it's cleaning well. Suction could have been much better!!

I have a foam mattress. It's very difficult to clean. When I saw this, I just had to try it. This is incredible and for $100! Easy to use. I definitely have confidence in my clean mattress.

This Jigoo Mattress Vacuum Cleaner appears to do what it says. It definitely works as a hand vacuum to pick up pet hair from the sofa and on couch cushions as well. I ordered this vacuum to use more for the sofa than the mattress. I like that indicator lights let you know when the angle and height of the vacuum are correct and the UV is functioning.The directions are a breeze - basically place the vacuum flat on the cushion/mattress and let 'er rip. It's important to know that if you attempt to operate this at more than a 30 degree angle or raised more than 3cm above your mattress it will not santitize. It is very quiet for a vacuum and gets warm, not overly, as you use it. It is simple to remove a d clear the dust bin. The suction is great and my cushions actually look cleaner. I normally vacuum daily (4 cats and a husband) but could tell the difference after thoroughly testing this out the first time.The directions tell you to use the vacuum several times the first week, then less frequently. I hope they don't think I'm changing the sheets 3x next week ;)Another tool in the arsenal against cat hair and dander.
