Using it on the ring finger. I tried 234, 222, 221, 220 (too tight), and 213 (just a bit big). The two that work for me with ring size 11.5 to 12 are the 318 and 203. Works smooth and was inexpensive as compared to some fancy ones with notches. Those should be nice too. After getting this I do not feel the need to try another one for a while. The length is shorter than some other slides, which is what I like. Some models above are knuckle slides but they fit my little finger and I tried but could not figure 'em out to be useful. Not worth it to return the other ones because they were from multiple music retailers and not Amazon.Yes is sounds good. Follow slide guitar principles, I am not expert, but a higher action will help. I am able to still use it with very low action and even on an 8 string guitar. Higher action will help along with thicker gauge strings closer to standard tuning.

It was exactly what was described…I like it, I do prefer glass, I usually use my ring finger, & it’s a good length for me, it’s a different sound, which is cool. One thing I did do is put electrical tape in the inside of the slide just to make it a little more snug….. I definitely would recommend it, I think we all should have a variety of slides made out of different materials, try it all….good luck & enjoy

It's perfect for me! I can put it on my middle finger so I can still play basic bar cords, and it's shorter, so it's easier to manage.

This is labeled as medium/short, but it's really XL....way too big. It's for a 12.5 ring size.List info is wrong.

Have just recieved this item and the pic is very decieving! From the picture it looks like you are getting a set of slides in different sizes - however it is not - you get one slide - if I had realised that I would have gone for cheaper option - as it is needed for my son this weekend I can't send back - but am very disappointed! I think in future I ill go to instrument shop when I can see in my hand what I am getting rather than trusting this site to show me acurate pic.
