I use this for my Fujifilm XT3 camera. It works great and makes a big difference in the sound quality. Totally recommend for an upgrade to your sound!

The microphone came in the mail and when I connected the camera cable (labeled) it does not work with my Sony ZV-1. I even tried switching the cables just in case the were mislabeled and it still does not work. Very disappointing as I was looking forward to recording my first video with it.Edit on 1/5/2022: After getting on the phone with Amazon tech support and they weren’t able to get it to work either they shipped another microphone out and fast. It works great and couldn’t be happier. This went from a one star to five stars due to their expedited efforts.

This only worked a couple times with my Sony A6100 camera. I plugged it in as the instructions said and it worked part of the first time but not for the whole video I recorded just a portion of it. After the next couple times trying it it just picked up a few seconds of what I was recording. Kept only picking up certain parts of my video I was making. (the audio) the rest I heard just loud static or no noise at all. I looked in the manual and looked at the troubleshooting to try to fix the problem bu this item is made bad and didnt work for me unfortunately . Frustrating.

Five stars...? Maybe it works fine, but it doesn't fit my Canon Vixia HF S100, so I didn't really get to test it. No, my camera isn't listed as one it fits, but at the time of purchase I had no reason to think it shouldn't. But the slot on my camera is too small for the square part on the mic that is supposed to slide in, as well as the wheel on it prevents me from getting it slid in there. I unscrewed the unit it to get the wheel off, but that's when I realized the mic's square bit was too big. So it failed on both accounts. If you have a similar camera, this could also be an issue.

Came in today. I was excited to try this one for my weekend trip. when I received it the box was open. and when i open the case the shock mount was missing 😔 I tried using it without the shock mount and I like how clear the sound that it makes. it also eliminates the unnecessary sounds around u. Im looking for a store where I can get the shock mount today since I am leaving tonight but there is no available shock mount anywhere 🥺🥺so I will just leave this at home and return it when I get back from my trip

Not bad quality and sensitivity, BUT sometimes it has losing connection inside and sound disappears
