Easy install but beware... you must remove the four screws attaching your fuel filler neck from the outer bezel surrounding the gas cap. THIS IS NOT IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. The filler neck's flanges ended up 3/4" too short after I installed the body lift. I had to loosen the hose clamps at both the tank and the filler neck... use a pick and spray PB Blaster in the rubber hose... then twist and slide the pieces apart in order to gain enough length to reattach the top flange to the bezel. I lucked out as I just so happened to decide to remove the bezel to repaint it with bedliner since it was looking 10 yrs old. Had I failed to do this, I would have broken the bezel. So the instructions could prove costly but the body lift itself is awesome and easy. Took me less than an hour to do everything.Unfortunately, one should do the motor mount lift in conjunction with this body lift. The MML is a royal PAIN and will likely prevent me from ever dealing with a body lift again. But don't get me wrong, this JKS item is great (even if the instructions do miss a beat).

I went with JKS because I've used their quick disconnects in the past and their quality impressed me. I already had a motor mount lift so did not have to fool with the fiddly gear shift brackets. Just had to move my radiator back to its original location.. Instructions were pretty good except they should mention the precaution of removing the 4 gas filler screws so the filler hose doesn't crack the plastic when jacking up the body. Hose is long enough once kit is installed, but you have to jack the body up just a little higher to get all the pucks in and some have reported this can stress the filler mount and crack it. Combined with my 2.5" OME lift I think this gives a perfect height for 33 inch tires and looks great. Wish the bolt heads were black so they would blend in better but I can do this later.

This is an excellent lift kit giving you everything you need to raise your Jeep Wrangler TJ. Make sure you go online and look at several different videos and instruction procedures as like everything these are missing a few. A few things of note:1. Make sure you loosen the gas line hose or it will crack. This is particularly an issue the higher you raise the car on the jack to get the pucks in which people do it too high just to help get the one in above the rear axle.2. When you loosen the opposite side don't go more than 2 full turns or you could have your mounts slip out of alignment.3. The front bumper stops are impossible if you do it the wrong way and easy if you do it correctly. Make sure you take out your headlights and install them when you have each side of the jeep raised, not at the end like the instructions say. Just reach down through the headlight hole with a pliers (vice-grip) and you can pull them into place.4. Hit the mount areas with a wire brush and some Chassis Saver so you aren't sorry later. This one of the first places to rust out on a Wrangler.5. Getting the old bolts off is the toughest part of the job. One sheared, one rusted off and one of the heads stripped out of 11. Make sure you can turn them all a day or two ahead of time by using PB Blaster or Kroil is better.6. The shift linkage drop is a pain to reach if you have a skid plate. Prepare yourself for a typically 30 minute job taking hours as your arms go numb and knuckles are bleeding. buy a needlenose smaller vice grip to act as your third arm. This is the best lift kit on the market and the 1-1/4 is a great height without looking stupid but allowing for a future tummy tuck.

Fit perfect and easy to install. Took about an hour to install. Getting the rusted body bolt off was the tough part. Use PB Blaster. Put it on body bolts the day before and again before taking them out and it will go quickerI have them in for a few months now. They don’t make any noise of any kind and feel to give a bit of a smoother ride. Not sure if that’s in my head but it does feel that way.Bottum Line: Buy It!

I bought this lift mostly because it comes with solid spacers. It may not provide any extra strength, but I like that and feel it does. Instructions were good, but it always helps to watch a couple youtube videos before tackling a project. Even though I did a motor mount lift too, I did need to install the transfer case shifter bracket, which was no problem. If you do get hung up on the front support knobs, just remove the headlights and you can reach right in there and pull them through. I think thats about the only way to get it done.

The kit was relatively easy to install. However, I didn't get the 7/16" flat washers with my kit.

Kit comes with mounting pucks, transfer case linkage drop and radiator bumbers.Where to begin. The transfer case linkage is a single plate, which I don't think will hold up well at all.The pucks are good quality and where easy to install. My issue, this lift, which changes everything by an 1 1/4", as such, the steering shaft, become to short, and was also hitting the firewall, So the firewall opening will need to be cut out and enlarged.Next, a new shaft if the original can not be extended, and in my experience, its very difficult, the cost of a new extended steering shaft is insane 500.00 plus for decent quality. They fail to mention any modifications to this, if you google it, there are several reports of the shaft disengaging and people losing steering. This needs to be mentioned in the instructions as a modification.

Really nice kit.You will need to go to a cable shifter for your transfer case if you want to retain a nice smooth shift from 2wd to 4wd etc. . The supplied linkage extension/relocation isn’t the answer. The Jeep doesn’t look silly like it would if it was a 2-3” lift. It looks stockish but give you that extra bit of articulation room/lift.

I ordered this lift at the same time as a JKS motor mount lift they both work great install was about 3 hrs on both. The only thing was I did have to use the transfer case linkage drop bracket included in the kit. In the instructions it states if you do the lift and the motor mount lift at the same time you wont need to drop the transfer case linkage but in my case I did. My linkage was binding and wouldn't shift without it. Over all good product now I can clear 33 inch tires with my 2 inch suspension lift and 1.25 Body.
