I used the tape to wrap an unstable 1952 MG TD steering wheel. Portions of the wheel are delaminating. The tape stabilized the wheel, especially where the three spoke components meet the wheel. The wheel feels solid in my hands. I then covered the wheel with an extra-large truck steering wheel leather cover, further adding stability to the wheel. If you have an old steering wheel that you you want to cover with leather, do yourself a favor and wrap it with tape so that the leather doesn't slip off one side while you're fitting it over the other side.

I bought this steering wheel tape for my Triumph Spitfire, but ended up using it for another purpose when the foam rubber on my lawn mower's handle developed several cracks and tears. I wrapped the rubber with the steering wheel tape. It's holding the rubber together fine. Because the tape is slightly tacky, I actually feel like I have a better grip on the mower's handle than ever before. The tackiness, too, explains why the tape is meant for racing and other high performance driving purposes. Although I'm using this for a different purpose than intended, it seems to hold up.

This is my 2nd order for this tape, didn't have enough in the first order. Used it to make my 81 Fords steering wheel a little thicker by wrapping the tape around some hose wrap I put over the steering wheel.

Very, very poor quality tape. It turned my hands black after driving just a few minutes. At $9+ per roll, ridiculously overpriced. One of the worst purchases ever.

Using it on race car steering wheel. It is thin, but provides a really good feel. Reduces fatigue while trying to grip the wheel and steer...less grip force is required since it grips race gloves really well.

Before I wrapped up my wheel with this it was really exhausting to control. mostly on the grip fatigue, by the end of my races i was pretty much just holding on for dear life. That all changed with this product.Yes, the adhesive WILL bleed throughYes, it will make your expensive fireproof gloves black and full of gumBut. If you feel like you are having trouble gripping your wheel after 20+ laps this product will help you. You dont need to grip remotely as hard.

DO NOT BUY THIS. This is just cheap hockey tape. Used a full roll for half the steering wheel. Stayed gooey and sticky. Took an hour to remove and clean. THATS CRAP
