What is Underbelly RV Tape?

Rvhouse’s is a strong repair fabric made of the same material as the Polyethylene Underbelly. The advantage of this tape is that it has a very strong adhesive backing to the material that can be applied directly to problem areas. The reason this tape is a top use product for this application is that most tapes have a difficult time adhering to the Polyethylene cloth. Duct tape and other iterations of strong adhesive cloths will stick, but only temporarily.

It wasn't exactly what I expected I expected it to look and feel more like tarp. Its thicker and shiny, but it is very stick and worked really well for my needs. I would buy it again of needed.

It's strong and very sticky backing. It still cuts fairly easy. I bought for the camper but I'm sure I'll find other uses for it.

Using this under my camper for some repairs and reinforcement. You absolutely cannot tear it, best thing to use is a carpet cutter. Well worth the money !!!

My intial impression of this tape was not good. It barely stuck to clean surface (alcohol) in 70 degree weather. Was peeling under its own weight and would never have made a trip down the road. I returned the roll and was looking other options. All products looked like the same tape sold under different names. One brand suggested using a heat gun to warm their tape. NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. Such a difference that you might think the tape was made of hot glue. You do have to be careful. You can get things too hot and cause more damage than good. I found that the low setting on my heat gun works best. Several seconds of heat then press on it with your fingers. It should be hot enough that you wouldn’t leave your finger on the area for a long time (you should still be able to quickly push things together) but not hot enough to start wrinkling the tape. Thats the line you’re trying to walk: as much heat as possible without wrinkling the tape.

Arrived late but not at the fault of seller. Works for intended purpose but I wish it was a little more sticky.
