These are my favorite needles for hand quilting. I have tried several brands, but these old eyes appreciate the large eye. I also like the sturdiness of the needle and its sharp points. It glides easily through three layers.

I use this small needle to achieve small quilting stitches. It holds up well going through occasional thick areas and I can thread the larger eye with quilt thread easily. The size 10 has been great for me to do piecing as well.

I didn’t realize these are as short as they are, but that’s my fault. They are good quality needles.

My favorite needles of all time. I only buy John James needles these days, I love tiny quilting needles and these fit the bill. In spite of the small size, they are sturdy and don't bend easily and they are really smooth. I'll never go back to the cheap needles again.

These are so tiny that I find it difficult to hold them. I kept dropping the needle because I was struggling to hold it and have enough of it visible to see where it was going. The “big eye†was useless to me, too. After a few tries I was able to thread it using a wire threader, but it was pure luck.

I have a hard time threading needles when hand quilting...these make it much easier!
