I tried Josh's Frogs leaf litter because everyone obsessed over it but I wasn't impressed. Not only was it pricey but every bag I got had 90% of the leaves molded. So I decided to try this one despite it not having a bunch of reviews and I'm glad I took the risk! These leaves are perfect for my frog's 18x18x24 30 gal terrarium. Two bags cover the bulk of the bottom and small gaps get covered by decor like the water bowl or large rocks, etc. I've bought this multiple times and the leaves are intact and maybe one or two will have mold. They are about 2-3 inches long and they really fluff up after you boil them. For extra safety I always boil leaf litter for 15 minutes. I leave them in my enclosure for a month before refreshing them as my tank is not bioactive. They handle humidity well and keep the substrate off of my White's Tree Frogs.

I’ve tried different brands of leaf litter and this is by far my favorite. It makes the tank look nice and clean and isn’t bulky or hard to place.

I bought a couple of bags in December 2023 and I have found no issues. I'm buying another bag. I'm not sure why there are no reviews yet for these. Maybe no reviews makes a customer not buy these, but I took a chance. Follow the directions in the information about oven use.

I've only tried 2 different brands and leaf types and these are always good quality, good size, and hold up very well! I'll definitely keep buying these!
