I’m not not sure why people leave negative reviews on this clamp. It’s OBVIOUSLY a lighter duty clamp.This light duty clamp surprisingly effective. It does deliver a pretty decent good clamping pressure. If you want a clamp that’s more heavy duty you should buy a medium or heavy duty clamp.These light duty clamps are very light and easy to handle and use. The quality is very good. I have more heavy duty f clamps. I use them when I need more clamping force. At first I bought 2 of these 6 in ones to try them out. I use them so much I just bought another pair.I haven’t tried the 12 inch ones. The larger size might flex more than I want. The larger the clamps size the more you need a clamp that’s built more heavy duty.A well equipped shop needs a lot of clamps… ðŸ˜

These clamps were exactly what I needed for a welding project - they are strong (listed as light duty but I'd call them medium duty), tall and wide, and the head at the top was thin enough to fit between my muffler and the bottom of the car. Held everything exactly where I needed it for tack welding it all together.

These C-clamps are very handy. They’re a little stiff when new, meaning that they don’t slide as easily as a person would like while using. Inset mine up in a vice, put some Marvels on the slide and worked them back and forth till they slide a lot better.

First off, to the guy whining about the pieces not being square-this style of clamp cannot be square and work! It has to be angled to permit the moving jaw to lock.No, they aren’t heavy duty, but they are plenty big enough for all the welding jobs I’ve had since buying them.

Good clamp but not for big jobs. Lighter jobs and they are fine. Bar width is smaller than expected. Product description doesn't give bar width. Flexes easy when tightening to point I'm afraid they will break if twisted any tighter. Again great clamp for smaller/lighter projects.
