I needed to shave down a door to one of the bedroom in my home and it worked. It makes a bit of a mess but what home project doesn’t. My door now closes and am glad I bought it. The feel of the shaver is sturdy, sharp and completely worth the money.

This product was very inexpensive and worked well. I had two doors that had swollen over the years and were sticking. This tool did a nice job of shaving the edge of the doors. A little tough to get through the paint, but overall it did exactly what I needed. Took a little elbow grease, but a good value for the money.

I needed to shave an edge off of one of the bedroom doors as it was not closing fully. This provided the perfect solution. I only had to shave maybe 1/8" on a 6" portion of the door and it took me about 5 minutes. However, if you're looking to shave much more, you should look into a hand plane. This little gadget seems pretty sturdy and there are replacement blades available if needed.

Blade is not sharp at all. It appears to be painted which further caused it to be very dull. Some of the teeth in it are also at varied heights. I bought this to replace a dull Stanley tool. The old dull Stanley is about the same as the new one. I plan to return it.
