I read through some of these reviews smh..."Didn't think it was so small!" Dude, it literally says the size right in the picture."It's got sharp edges!" Well no #$%@.I've tried all sorts of traps over the years and this one far and away outproduces them all. I added a little chum box zip tied in the middle but it's not even necessary.Pays for itself after a few soaks.

Great trap although I do with it had a basket for a chum block. Overall it did the job well.

I am catching enough pinfish off the dock to use for some light fishing every week, which is all that I wanted. So, I am happy with that. One small flaw I have encountered is that it seems to have sharp pieces everywhere, so you will cut yourself now and then. It is easy enough to be careful when you are just baiting, but as soon as you have issues with catching the wrong type of bait fish or trying to clean it you will get a sharp surprise. I have had many larger traps ver the years, such as blue crab pots, but have never had so many sharp pieces. The other issue is that if there are 10-12 pinfish in the trap, one or two will be stuck trying to swim out of the trap. Most of then time they can be saved, but not always.

This thing will catch pinfish! Loaded up using this around the docks and grass flats in Destin. Too bad it has so many sharp edges left from the manufacturing process. It has made me bleed multiple times. Painful deep cuts. The sharp edges make it challenging to bait, handle, transport and store. I’d give this 5 stars for effectiveness and 2 star for its prickly usability.

This trap is well made but too small. My next door neighbor catches dozens of pin fish in his full size trap while I get one or two. Pay a few dollars extra and get the big one.
