I was already considering adopting the machined pin version of Deutsch connectors for most of my projects before this stamped pin kit was recommended to me. It is a good system, they make good weather tight connections if crimped and assembled properly. There are a lot of steps, but the color printed instructions are very well done and complete. If you already have wing style crimpers they can likely be used for these as well. These are better than many connector types, like weather pack, but not as good as round machine pin Deutsch connectors. if you can afford those and their special crimper, they are easier to use. But these are fine too. It's nice that the connector bodies can stack to save space, but in order to fit in the plastic kit box they MUST be stacked because everything is packed so tight. Basically, once you use one connector, the box lid will never close again. That is an annoyance.

I needed a few more 4 pin connectors for a automotive wiring project and this package is just what I needed. They are as good a quality of Deutsch connector as any that I have ordered in the past. The connector bodies are precisely molded, well finished and fit together snugly for the waterproof seal you expect. The pins and keepers are the same quality, crimp well and fit cleanly into the connector bodies. It just what I expected and need in a quality connector and at a reasonable price.

Ordered this JRready DW1017 4 Pin Deutsch DT Connector Kit to use on a project I am doing with my camper and wanted to be able to plug and unplug some exterior features as needed. I screwed up and ordered a crimping tool that is too big for the 16 gauge DT connectors. So full disclosure I was not able to fully test how well they crimped down using a generic tool. Dang it.I did piece them together and examine the fit and function in general. Really like the detailed instructions that give clear amperage ratings and the amount of wire to strip down. Much better than most kits I have tested and reviewed. The pieces fit together well and I can believe they are indeed IP68 waterproof. Will update my review if when I actually go to crimp them down they do not function, but do not foresee any issues there based on the quality of the product. Certainly worth considering if you need a DT connector kit.

This is a nice set of connectors. I find the 2-pin size to be the most convenient for connecting sensors, etc., to outdoor projects for Arduino and Raspberry Pi. The IP68 rating has been more than equal to the wet environment in the Pacific Northwest. These are also my go-to connector sets when replacing connectors in my old cars.

Needed a 12 pin Deutsch connector to plug into my airbag controller. This worked great. End result after building harness is an install that looks like it came from the factory.
