Sealing Plugs
- Open cavities provide pathways for contaminants to enter the connectors. To maintain seal integrity, any unused cavity must be filled with the appropriate size sealing plug.

The DT connectors are used in harsh environment applications where even a small degradation in connection may be critical. Thermoplastic housings offer a wide operating temperature range and silicone rear wire and interface seals allow the connectors to withstand conditions of extreme temperature and moisture.

I've been using these Deutsch connectors for years and you know, I've really grown to appreciate their design and function.They're very water resistant for most applications and while there is a learning curve and special tools are required to utilize these, the small investment is absolutely worth every penny.If you're using these for the first time, I would definitely recommend watching a few YouTube videos to give you a heads up as to how these work as it's a bit confusing your first time.Once you're up and running, you'll wonder why you've never used anything but these.

I used these to add accessories onto a motorcycle so they can be disconnected quickly. They were high quality, easy to use and have held up to the elements.

These are fantastic connectors. You need to pay attention to which pieces go on the mail side and which pieces go on the female side. Just look at the pictures on Amazon and you can tell. You will need a good crimping tool or else need to solder the pins on. I have an old aircraft surplus crimping tool which worked okay.

Used for speaker install. These worked really well. However they should really include extra contacts. I ended up soldering mine on instead of crimping.

I really like these kits. Everything you need to make a connector is in the package unlike others i have seen where you have to buy each item separately.

I bought these and the proper tool to crimp and remove the terminals if needed. I started replacing all the old plugs on my '03 C5 Corvette, as I come across older plugs that are difficult to disconnect. I love them compared to the old tech that Chevys were using in the late 90's early 2000's. Just purchased 10 more two terminal plugs to have on hand. I'm definitely sold on these!

If you're looking for water-proof connectors, keep looking. The gaskets on these pop right off as they're inserted or disconnected.The brand they're trying to copy doesn't have this problem. It's a shame you can't find the name brand items on Amazon anymore. These knock-offs save only a few bucks.I'm returning these and buying Deutsch brand on another eCommerce site.

First of all, the people that are saying these are bad, or the locks not going in, must not know how to use the product.I ordered a set of the 4 pin connectors and used them in an install today, and everything went flawless. I have zero complaints so far. Now, I cannot comment on the longevity of the product and how well the housing will hold up, I'm not sure what it's made of, but I'm not very concerned, especially when these are a fraction of the cost of the TE brand.
